#10. Writing in the Quiet

I’ve been writing a lot lately—but quietly.

The past few years have been intense. At times, it felt like I was watching it all unfold from outside myself, like a film. But this past month, I’ve finally had the chance to pause—to breathe—and to begin taking it all in.

One of the things I love most about New York is the never-ending stream of ambitious, curious people. Just this past week, I had many conversations with aspiring founders—each setting out with bold, creative visions. It reminded me how energizing it is to share ideas—and how much I’ve missed it. Those chats have been a welcome nudge to start sharing more of my own journey again.

At the same time, a few recent moments have reinforced a deeper truth I’ve been sitting with: your inner world is everything. Learning to become your own best friend might be life’s greatest hack. It’s a lesson that can become very stark through the entrepreneurial path—but also one that many wildly successful people seem to overlook entirely. I think there’s a lot more that needs to be said and explored on this topic.

For now, I have a lot to be grateful for, a lot I’m still learning, and a lot I’m excited to share. Over the next month I’ll post a few reflections—some of the most meaningful lessons I’ve taken from my founder journey to date. If you’re just starting out, I hope they’ll be helpful.

The pause was intentional. But now, I’m excited to start writing again—with a little more clarity, and a lot more to say.
